A day in the life of ‘Matt Jenkins Dressage’...
7:00am: Breakfast, the horses in Matt’s care are fed according to owners requirements and individual needs. Whilst eating, attention is paid to legs, rugs, healthy droppings, and clean water drinkers.
7:30am: Mucking out and sweeping the yard to ensure it is kept tidy and dust free. Whilst mucking out each horse enjoys a pre exercise leg stretch on the indoor horse walker.
8:30am: Exercise begins, each horse benefits from a varied routine based on two days schooling, one hacking day, a further two days schooling, another hack or lunging session, and one day off. This is can be tailored to suit each individual horse, and the owner’s requirements.
12:30pm: Lunchtime skip out and turn out for those horses that have been exercised in the morning.
